General strike in Bangladesh Today

The main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP is observing general strike Sunday ahead of the strike Saturday five cars have been torched in Dhaka. The cars were set in fire at Mirpur-1, Mirpur-10, Sonarga rail crossing, kakrail and New market areas in the capital. After the incident some unites of fire service reached the spot and broad the fire under control.

Khondokar Delwar Hossain the secretary general of the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP need the aligation Saturday while  campaigning for the stoppage. He want that the government will have to be all responsibilities for any consequence.

To gains public supports for the general strike centers  leader the main opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP have been campaigning by holding rally, marches and distributing liflet for the past several days.

Khondokar Delwar Hossain says “ The government is trying to foil Sunday nationwide general strike by using RAB and  Police administration. Police are ready with bird barigates in civil dresses they will guard government and the awami league mans, vehicles and these will attempt to foil the general strike”. He also criticize DMP commissioner, “ DMP commissioner gave in the press brief after a close door meeting was a no way in neutral”.

He asked on everyone to make the general strike a success.
