ADMISSION 2010 in singapore for admission in 2011  Direct Polytechnic Admission (DPA) Exercise will
commence on 8 July 2010, for admission into the polytechnics in 2011. The Direct Polytechnic

Admission (DPA) Exercise gives the polytechnics greater flexibility to select students on criteria
other than examination results, thus allowing a wider range of talents to be recognised.

The Direct Polytechnic Admission (DPA) Exercise also allows students who are interested in, and who
have the aptitude for applied learning, to confirm places in polytechnic courses prior to taking
their GCE O-Level examinations.

Students accepted to polytechnics through the DPA can also benefit from special preparatory
programmes in the polytechnics, before the start of the formal polytechnic calendar in April 2011.

Applicants are required to log in with their NRIC/FIN and password used during the application to
check their results.

The Direct Polytechnic Admission (DPA) 2010 results will be released online from 2pm on Fri 20 Aug
2010 to 4pm on Wed 25 Aug 2010.
